Severe thunderstorm watch ends for Montreal area

A few strong thunderstorms rolled through the Greater Montreal area Friday afternoon, bringing heavy rain and wind gusts.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the area shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The watch was lifted at around 5:30 p.m.
