Marianne Drouin is a Montreal-based Digital Content Editor who joined CTVNews.ca in 2017.
She creates video content for CTVNews.ca and its social media platforms, and newscasts for the Montreal metro stations.
She has a diverse journalism background in radio and television, both off and on air, covering news, sports and entertainment for more than 20 years.
She took a brief pause from media to work in provincial politics before returning to radio as a research journalist and host.
Marianne has a wide knowledge of Quebec news after doing research for radio shows and leading the production of regional and provincial news reports. She has a specific interest in Quebec politics, and was part of CTV Montreal's results team in the 2018 provincial election. She was also part of the live-blog team for the 2021 federal election French and English debates, and participated in election night coverage for CTVNews.ca.
Marianne is a member of the Quebec Federation of Professional Journalists (FPJQ).
She is fluent in French and English.
