Melissa Lopez-Martinez
Melissa Lopez-Martinez joined the CTVNews.ca team in 2020. The Toronto-based writer has reported on a variety of general news topics including women’s rights, climate change and the occasional viral pet video.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Guelph-Humber’s joint media studies program with Humber College.
During her university career, Melissa was the campus editor for the independent online publication, The Avro Post. Melissa’s work has also appeared in the University of Guelph-Humber’s news website, GH360. She also worked as a writer and managing web editor for the online Emerge 2020 Magazine.
Melissa speaks English and Spanish.
