Two dead after serious North Perth collision

Two people have died after a serious two-vehicle collision in North Perth.

Just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, emergency services were called to the incident on Perth Line 86.

OPP said when crews arrived, two vehicles, a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck, were heavily damaged. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger was taken to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck was seriously hurt and was taken to a London hospital.

The two dead were identified as a 72 and a 75-year-old from North Perth. The other driver involved was 17 and is still in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
