Three replica guns seized in weekend weapons investigation

London police lay charges after weekend weapons call near Cheapside and Irving Place.

The London Police Service has seized three replica guns after an incident over the weekend.

On Friday, the LPS said three men were in a home on Irving Place when two began arguing with each other. The witness reportedly interjected, telling them to stop arguing.

Later the same night, the witness to the original disagreement allegedly pulled out a rifle, threatening one of the men in the argument.

The LPS said all the men were known to each other and a report was made to officers the next day.

Seized from the home were a rifle BB gun, a revolver BB gun, and a handgun BB gun.

A 40-year-old London man has been charged with uttering threats of death or bodily harm, possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device as a result.
