Sunnier outlook toward the end of the week, showers persisting until Thursday

Some showers and thunderstorms in the mix to start your Tuesday, with some varying conditions heading into the afternoon.

“We are under this upper level flow that continues to spin rainfall back into the Great Lakes as we head through the day on Tuesday,” cautioned CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison.

Some showers could continue into the afternoon, with the possibility of thunderstorms.

“You’ll see some light rainfall as we head into Tuesday evening,” predicted Atchison. “The trend will be to move this system on out, but not until we hit Thursday.”

Temperatures are expected to dip on Wednesday with a cold front rolling through.

To end out the week, “we’re going to see a few days of sunshine back to back,” smiled Atchison. “So Friday, Saturday into Sunday, daytime highs anywhere from 16 to 20 degrees.”
