Scattered showers midweek, with mixed conditions projected over the long weekend

Some scattered showers will be visiting southwestern Ontario after a beautiful stretch of sunshine.

That’s due to an upper-level low, which will move into the Ohio Valley through the day on Thursday, “Some light rainfall expected, won’t be steady rain all day, but we could see about two, three millimeters,” predicted CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison.

Heavier rainfall is expected west of London, with showers continuing on and off over the next couple of days.

As for Tuesday morning, “winds out of the southeast, 17 degrees by noon hour, and 19 the forecast high,” said Atchison. “Unsettled as we head into your Wednesday with a 40 pre cent chance of showers, although temperature coming back up to 24, 26 [degrees].”

Thursday looks to be warm, with a mix of sun and clouds to close out the week.

The long weekend will likely start with some showers on Saturday, slowly moving into sunshine on Monday.
