OPP release name of man killed in fatal head-on crash near Goderich

OPP have released the name of the man who died in an early morning head-on crash near Goderich.

Huron County OPP, along with the Goderich Fire Department, were called to Huron Road at Falls Road around 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a collision.

Police say the driver of a westbound Ford Explorer crossed the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound tractor trailer.

The driver of the Explorer, Joshua Murphy, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 30-year-old driver of the transport suffered minor injuries.
