Name of victim released in fatal two-vehicle crash

London Police have released the name of the young man killed in a south London crash.

On Friday, June 24th, around 1:35 p.m., emergency responders attended a two-vehicle collision at Wilton Grove Road and Old Victoria Road.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were taken to hospital.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Khalil Watfa of London. His 25-year-old male passenger has been discharged from hospital. The 59-year-old Ingersoll woman from the other vehicle has also been discharged from hospital.

Police say speed was a factor in this collision. Even though members of the Traffic Management Unit continue to investigate this collision, no charges will be laid.
