Multi-vehicle collision due to town-wide power outage

A multi-vehicle collision was the result of a town-wide power outage in Saugeen Shores.

The Saugeen Shores Police Service posted on social media that emergency crews were on scene of the incident at the intersection of Tomlinson Drive and Goderich Street.

Drivers were asked to treat the intersection as a four-way stop until emergency vehicles cleared the scene, as the lights were not working.

In attached photos, three damaged vehicles were seen.

As of 12:45 p.m., officers said the roadway was opened.
