Four-year-old girl dies after being found in Brantford pool

A four-year-old girl has died after being found in a swimming pool.

Brantford police and EMS were called to a home on Grand River Avenue late Saturday afternoon.

The girl had been found in the pool in the yard of her family home with no vital signs.

EMS tried to resuscitate the girl.

She was transported to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton where she later died.

Police are still investigating.

No names have been released.
