Back-to-back rainfall days on the way for the London region

CTV News London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has the latest forecast for the region.

Expect cool, wet, and windy conditions for Wednesday, with showers lingering into Thursday before clearing up as we roll into the weekend.

Rainfall is anticipated to move through midwestern Ontario as the day progresses.

“The weather will be overcast in Grey and Bruce early this morning. showers are expected to move in during the afternoon, with heavier rainfall expected on Thursday,” said CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison.

The daytime high today will be 13 C, below normal for this time of year, with gusty winds out of the east.

Thursday will see showers, with temperatures around 11 C. Friday will also be cooler than usual, with temperatures well below the average for this time of year. The normal daytime high is 20 degrees Celsius.

The weather will begin to improve as we head into the weekend. Saturday will bring a bit of morning cloud, but lots of sunshine in the afternoon, with a high of 16 C, still quite cool for this time of year.

Wednesday: Periods of rain ending this morning then cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers or drizzle this morning and early this afternoon. Periods of rain beginning this afternoon. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 50. High 13.

Wednesday Night: Periods of rain. Wind east 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Low 9.

Thursday: Showers. Wind becoming east 30 km/h in the morning. High 12

Friday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 10.

Saturday: Sunny. High 16.

Sunday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 17.

Monday: Cloudy. High 16.
