For Olympians, finishing second can be hard to accept

For Olympians who dream of winning a gold medal, falling just short can feel like missing the opportunity of a lifetime. British rower Annie Vernon, who won a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics, says just missing gold can be tougher to process than finishing well out of the medals.
