The Royal British Legion has given the classic WWI-era poem "In Flanders Fields" a contemporary new look.

Written in 1915 by Canadian doctor John McCrae, the poem remains one of the most popular from the First World War.

In its new treatment, the lines of the poem are written out using poppies and placed in seven different locations, including the White Cliffs of Dover and Dunkirk Beach.

The Royal British Legion released a video of the poem Thursday, with drones capturing breathtaking views of the red written words of the poem.

The Legion is using the video as part of their #RethinkRemembrance campaign.
