Two Guelph Police Service officers injured in collision

Two Guelph Police Service officers were hurt in a collision involving a police vehicle.

The officers were in a marked cruiser on Thursday when the collision happened.

Police said the officers were heading northbound on Victoria Road South near York Road around 1 p.m. when the driver of an SUV pulled out of a parking lot and into their path.

Both officers were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not considered to be serious. The driver of the SUV was unharmed.
