One person allegedly assaulted by three men in Guelph

Guelph Police say a man was beaten up by three others after they were allegedly harassing his friend.

Officers were called to Macdonell Street around 1:45 a.m. Friday.

A man in his 20s told them three men he didn’t know were harassing his female friend before he stepped in. The trio then turned on the man and allegedly began to punch and kick him.

The three men were last seen leaving in a black pickup truck.

The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
