OPP trying to identify person of interest in Mitchell investigation

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating reports of indecent acts in Mitchell.

An unknown person was seen engaging in inappropriate behaviour on at least three occasions: June 15, 2025, Nov. 22, 2025 and May 16, 2026.

All of the incidents happened in the areas of St. Andrew Street, Pond Street and Blenheim Street.

On Tuesday, OPP released a description of a person they are calling a person of interest.

The man was white, middle-aged, approximately 6’0” tall, and had a heavy-set build. He had a clean-shaven round face and black hair.

Police also shared two composite sketches by a forensic artist, who based them on witness accounts.
