Brampton woman arrested for armed robbery at Guelph store

A woman from Brampton has been charged as part of an armed robbery investigation in Guelph.

On March 20, a woman walked into an unnamed store at Woodlawn Road and Woolwich Street.

Guelph Police said she was unable to buy her items as she did not have valid identification.

The woman then left the store and got into a black sedan.

Soon after, said police, three men got out of the same vehicle and went inside the store.

One of them allegedly had a gun, with another carried a claw hammer with a wooden handle.

Police said both weapons were used to threaten the store’s two employees, then the men left with cash and merchandise.

No was one was hurt.

On Tuesday, the woman was arrested by Guelph Police. The 26-year-old was charged with robbery and wearing a disguise while committing an offense.

Police are still trying to identify the three men responsible for the robbery.

The first is described as Black, with a darker complexion, about 5’10” and a heavy build. He was wearing a yellow zip-up hoodie, black Nike balaclava, black pants and blue shoes.

The second suspect was also Black, with a lighter complexion, around 6’0”, with a slim build and long black hair. He wore a blue hoodie under a yellow vest, black pants and blue shoes.

The third man was Black, with a dark complexion, between 5’8” and 5’10”, with a slim build. He was wearing a black North Face windbreaker, grey track pants, black shoes and carrying a black duffle bag.
