Police arrest, charge man with sexual assault in three April southside incidents

Police charged a man after three women were sexually assaulted in south Edmonton in April.

Edmonton police arrested and charged a man on Thursday with sexual assault related to three incidents last month in the southside.

Harpeet Singh, 28, is charged with three counts of sexual assault that occurred in April in the Charlesworth neighbourhood.

Singh is in custody.

Police said Wednesday two of the assaults happened on April 22 and one on April 27 after a man targeted women walking alone on pathways.
