Photos of suspect in fatal house fire released by Edmonton police

Police released a photo of a suspect in a deadly house fire in January they say was deliberately-set.

Police are looking for the person who set a deadly fire at an Edmonton home earlier this year.

Emergency crews were called to the home on 118 Avenue and 122 Street at 4:52 a.m. on Jan. 13.

A 78-year-old woman was rescued from the home and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A 70-year-old man also escaped the fire with injuries.

Police say the two lived in the house and were family members.

Investigators determined that the fire had been deliberately set and police began an investigation.

On Feb. 28, the woman died from her injuries in hospital.

On Tuesday, the medical examiner determined that Susan Harlan, 78, died of complications from thermal injuries and smoke inhalation.

Her death was deemed a homicide.

Police are now releasing images of a person they believe started the fire.
