EPS investigating suspicious death in west Edmonton, 2 in custody

Two people have been arrested after a man was found dead in a vehicle in west Edmonton.

Edmonton police are investigating after a body was found in the west end Tuesday morning.

Around 12:15 a.m., officers received a report of a disturbance in the area of 56 Avenue and 199 Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside a vehicle.

EPS said the death is considered suspicious.

Two men were taken into custody. Police said they aren’t “looking for any other suspects at this time.”

The homicide section has taken over the case. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
