Edmonton weather: Calmer, warmer and sunnier for the weekend

Daytime highs near 20 C for all three days with a mix of sun and cloud.

No significant rain is expected in central and northern Alberta.

That said, there’s a chance of a few widely scattered showers in western Alberta late Saturday.

There’s also a chance of a few widely-scattered showers in north-central Alberta late Sunday.

It’s still looking like some heavier, steadier rain is likely in central Alberta early next week.

The location and timing of the steadiest rain is still somewhat uncertain. But, there’s a very good chance we’ll see some of that in the Edmonton area.

As a result, temperatures are forecast to pull back to highs in the low to mid teens for Monday-Wednesday.
