Child luring charges laid against Grande Prairie man, RCMP seeking other victims

A 19-year-old Grande Prairie man has been charged with child luring and police believe there may be more victims.

RCMP said they were tipped off by Interpol that Isaac Thomas Emson was luring children online into sending him intimate images.

Multiple electronic devices and a gun were seized by police during a search of his home on Monday. He was charged with possession of child pornography, luring a child, and possessing a firearm knowing its possession was unauthorized.

Mounties said, based on surveillance and their investigation, they believe there may be additional victims online and in the community.

Emson’s known emails and usernames are:

• BlackoutQuattro2281;
• Isaac Beam;
• Whiskey181; and
• Isaac E.

He has been taken into custody and is set to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on June 11.
