Brandon Buechler
Brandon joined CTV National News in September 2019 as a National elections producer during the federal election, as well as producing daily Truth Tracker segments with Richard Madan. Post-election, he works as a producer, assignment editor and editorial assistant for CTV National News. He originally joined the network as a chase producer with CTV News Channel, after graduating Ryerson University’s journalism program in June 2018.
Previously, he’d been an associate producer intern with CBC’s U.K. bureau and a contributing reporter and producer at Ryerson’s various student media outlets.
When he’s not chasing breaking news, you can usually find Brandon on Twitter, talking about politics, technology, and science – and sharing the occasional cat video.
Brandon speaks English and understands basic German.
