TECUMSEH, Ont. -- A 39-year-old man is facing charges after his dog allegedly killed another dog in a southwestern Ontario park.
Provincial police say the altercation took place on Sunday between an Alaskan malamute and a schnoodle at a park in Tecumseh, Ont.
They did not provide details, but said the schnoodle died as a result of injuries caused by the malamute.
Shean Harrison of Windsor, Ont., faces a charge under the Dog Owners' Liability Act.
He will appear in court next month.
There is no word on the status of the malamute.
