Ont. teen dies after assault in rooming house

OSHAWA, Ont. -- Police say a teenager has died of his injuries a week after he was assaulted in an Oshawa rooming house.
They say 19-year-old Tehganni Lewis died Saturday, in what investigators are calling a culpable homicide.
Lewis was taken to hospital early in the morning of Jan. 23.
He was transported to a Toronto trauma centre, and remained in critical condition until his death.
Police say a post-mortem will be scheduled in the next few days.
No arrests have been made, and police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect.
