The rain we get now is good, considering the long, hot, dry stretch coming

The next couple of days come with a risk of showers and non-severe thunderstorms later in the day.

A ridge of high pressure will move in on Saturday and kick us into the 20s.

Daytime highs should remain in the 20s for about seven straight days.
