Feedback sought on Lethbridge land use bylaw changes; final survey is available

The City of Lethbridge is looking for feedback on changes to its land use bylaw and is launching its third and final survey for phase 2 of the project.

So far, 1,400 residents have given their input.

The city is launching its third and final survey for phase 2 of the project.

This time, residents will get their say on several proposed bylaw changes,

Issues talked about in previous surveys include wanting to see reduction of red tape, concerns over housing affordability and worries over densification.

The city hopes for a lot of feedback to create a bylaw that works best for residents.

“Throughout the month of June, the public and stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide feedback on several proposed changes that could change the way we regulate secondary suites and other types of housing, commercial, industrial development and parking requirements,” said Genesis Molesky, senior planner and project manager.
