Expect it to be hot, sunny and stable for Tuesday, but a little smoky, too

Tuesday and Wednesday are likely going to be smoky. Some rain we're expecting on Thursday might clean up the air, however.

On Tuesday in Calgary, the weather will be hot, sunny and stable, but it will be a little smoky again.

We should remain at moderate on the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) through the day.

For those that are at higher risk, you may have to monitor your time spent outdoors.

We have a good chance on Wednesday to get bumped up to thehigh- risk level on the AQHI scale.

This means everyone may need to limit their time outdoors.

The rain on Thursday will help clean up the air.

We have the potential to pick up 10+ millimetres of rain.

Temperatures will drop quite a bit, and the wind will pick up.
