Boat explodes in Tiny Township

CTV Barrie: Boat explodes in Tiny Township The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating after a boa exploded in Tiny Township Tuesday.

One man is recovering in hospital after a boat explosion and fire in Tiny Township.

Tiny Township Fire Chief tells CTV News that they were called to a boat explosion on West Shore Drive and when they arrived they found a boathouse and a boat on fire.

The Ontario Fire Marhsal will be investigating the cause of the explosion, which is protocol when there is a suspected explosion.

There has been no damage estimate yet and the severity of the burns to the man is not known at this time.
