Avril Lavigne, Rise Against to headline ‘All Your Friends Fest’ this weekend

All Your Friends Fest, featuring all your favourite artists hits Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medone on June 28 and 29.

From the team behind Boots and Hearts, WayHome, and Canada Rocks with The Rolling Stones, ‘All Your Friends Fest’ - a two day event of pop-punk and alternative rock is set to take over Burl’s Creek Event Grounds this weekend.

Headlining this year’s festival is Canada’s pop-punk legend Avril Lavigne. With more than 50 million albums sold and eight Grammy nominations, Lavigne brings a wave of early-2000s nostalgia.

“I can’t wait to play All Your Friends Fest at Burl’s Creek. It’s going to be a blast playing with so many of my friends at a festival so close to home and I hope to see you all there,” Lavigne shared ahead of the summer event.

Also hitting the Oro-Medonte stage is Underoath, Boys Like Girls, The Veronicas, State Champs, Relient K, Taylor Acorn and many more. The full list of weekend performers can be found here.

The festival hosted at one of Canada’s largest outdoor event spaces, will welcome tens of thousands with camping and RV options available across its 600-acre property.

“This year’s lineup is a testament to the foundation and evolution of the genre, uniting artists who defined the scene with those shaping its next chapter. Rise Against built their legacy in punk’s raw intensity, while Avril Lavigne brought pop-punk to the masses - both instrumental in shaping the spirit of this festival. Chuck Comeau, Canadian musician and drummer of the rock band Simple Plan sat down with CTV News to share his excitement ahead of the band’s weekend performance.

Comeau says this year’s crowd can expect a lot of energy, “I think lot’s of energy, kind of the signature of the plan. We get on stage we jump around and have a great time and we make sure everybody coming to the show leaves with a smile on their face.”

After last summer’s event saw an upwards of 15,000 attendees and featured some of the biggest names in the genre, including Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent, The All-American Rejects and Jimmy Eat World, the event will return for its second year on June 28 and 29.
