Two arrested following break and enter at Central Bedeque residence: P.E.I. RCMP

The RCMP said a 64-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested following a break and enter at a residence in Central Bedeque, P.E.I.

Police said officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at a home in the community Sunday around 5:30 p.m. The complainant reported seeing two people inside the residence.

“With the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, officers conducted a search of the home and located two people inside. Both were arrested without incident and taken into custody,” read a news release from the RCMP.

They are scheduled to appear in court March 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Summerside provincial court.
