PERTH, Australia — An intense search for debris from the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 has shifted about 1,100 kilometers northeast of the previous search zone in the southern Indian Ocean.

JAPAN

Two military P-3 Orion planes; a coast guard jet.

NEW ZEALAND

One military P-3 Orion plane; one civilian plane.
