Residents in Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula voted in a referendum Sunday on whether to demand more autonomy from the country, or separate and join Russia. While it is largely expected that voters will opt to join Russia, the vote has been deemed illegitimate by the U.S., Canada and members of the EU.
