An arrest has been made after a Canadian woman doing volunteer work in Tanzania was found dead, reportedly from a gunshot wound to the head.
Local police say they have one man in custody.
Susan Wells, a 41-year-old from Collingwood, Ont., left for Tanzania in late November for a month-long trip.
A family friend told The Canadian Press over the weekend that Wells was an experienced traveller who had gone on numerous trips abroad to volunteer for charities, including five previous trips to Tanzania.
