COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- A man suspected of providing a bullet-proof jacket to the gunman who killed two people in attacks in Copenhagen has been jailed for 26 days.
The 18-year-old man, who cannot be named under a court order, reportedly is the younger brother of Omar El-Hussein, who killed a Danish filmmaker attending a free speech event Feb. 14 in Copenhagen.
The following day, El-Hussein killed a Jewish security guard outside a synagogue, and was himself killed by police in a shootout soon after.
Five police officers also were wounded the two attacks.
The suspect jailed Saturday is the third man arrested in the case. Two others are also held suspected of helping El-Hussein. All must be released on March 26 unless a court extends their detention.
