A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in an Abbotsford park Saturday night, according to police. Shortly before midnight, officers were called to Jubilee Park in the 2500 block of McCallum Road, where they found a 29-year-old man suffering from “serious stab-related injuries,” the Abbotsford Police Department told CTV News in a statement. A police medic stabilized the victim before paramedics arrived and took him to hospital in serious but stable condition, the department said. “This investigation is in its early stages as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the assault,” the statement reads. “Initial indications suggest the incident was targeted.” No suspects have been arrested.
