SYLVANIA, Ohio -- Chella Choi defeated Ha Na Jang in a one-hole playoff Sunday to win the LPGA Marathon Classic.

It was the first career victory for Choi, who has been on the LPGA Tour since 2009. Jang is in her rookie year.

Choi parred the par-5, 532-yard 18th hole at Highland Meadows Golf Club for the win while Jang settled for a bogey.

Jang was the leader after each of the first three rounds. She had a 3-under 68 in the final round with six birdies, a bogey and a double-bogey. Through the first three rounds of the tournament, Jang only had two bogeys.

After a 2-over par 73 in the first round, Choi was 16-under over the final three rounds, including a 66 on Sunday. She had five birdies in the final round.

The last playoff in the tournament was in 2010 when Na Yeon Choi won a four-way playoff on the second hole.

Defending champion Lydia Ko and Shanshan Feng were right behind at 13-under 271. Both shot final round 67s, with Ko having five birdies and one bogey and Feng carding four birdies, including two on the final two holes. Ko is ranked No. 2 in the world.

Inbee Park, the No. 1 ranked player in the world, had a 70 in the final round and finished at 10-under 274.

Stacy Lewis, ranked No. 3, finished at 8-under 276.

Canada's Alena Sharp struggled Sunday. The Hamilton native shot a 2-over 73 to finish at 6-under. Sharp started the day tied for eighth but finished tied for 22nd.
