TORONTO -- Minnesota rookie forward Andrew Wiggins and Boston second-year centre Kelly Olynyk will represent Canada on the world team at the NBA's Rising Stars Challenge on al-star weekend.

Wiggins, a rookie of the year favourite from Vaughan, Ont., is averaging 15.2 points and 4.3 rebounds a game.

Olynyk, a seven-footer from Kamloops, B.C., averages 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game on 50.6 per cent shooting.

The Rising Stars Challenge will use a new format this year, with first- and second-year players from the United States going against a team of international players.
