NBA All-Star fever has set in across Toronto ahead of one of the biggest basketball events of the year.

It was apparent at Yonge and Dundas Streets overnight Friday, where eager shoppers lined up in frigid temperatures to get into a pop-up retail store selling only Michael Jordan-brand gear.

The space, which features footwear as well as clothing and hats, opened to the public at 6:23 a.m. Friday –the timing a symbolic tip of the hat to the legendary basketball player’s jersey number.

The store will remain open 24 hours a day throughout the All-Star weekend, and will close its doors on Monday at 6:23 p.m.

Toronto is preparing for a big party this weekend as basketball stars and celebrities descend on Toronto for the All-Star weekend.
