MONTREAL -- A quick look at tennis player Eugenie Bouchard, winner of the Bobbie Rosenfeld Award as the 2013 Canadian Press female athlete of the year:
Born: Feb. 25, 1994.
Hometown: Westmount, Que.
Size: Five foot 10, 134 pounds.
2013 Highlights: Rose from 144th to No. 32 in WTA world rankings, defeated Ana Ivanovic in the second round of Wimbledon, forced top-ranked Serena Williams to three sets in Cincinnati and was named WTA Newcomer of the Year.
Quote: "There is probably expectation around me but I'm not going to worry about that. I put enough pressure on myself, so I'm just going to focus on that and not worry about what other people think because that's out of my control."
