Over the course of his six months at the International Space Station, Cmdr. Chris Hadfield has captivated Canadians with hundreds of stunning images and videos. In the below YouTube video, one of his final posts from space, he performs an updated version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" interspersed with stunning images of Earth, the cosmos from close up, and life in space. Bowie himself said "I approve," after watching the video.
From pictures of the Aurora Borealis to sun and moon-rises, Hadfield found new and creative ways to showcase space and the Earth in photographs like the one below.

This YouTube video is a favourite among kids. Hadfield demonstrates how astronauts brush their teeth in space. What do you think he does with the toothpaste when he's done? Watch and find out...

Fun with gas masks: Hadfield said the video below never fails to make him laugh -- what to do when a fire breaks out on the ISS. Believe it or not, the drill routine can be fun.

As Hadfield's mission began to wind down before re-entry on May 13 aboard a Soyuz rocket, he took time to check out his re-entry gear and make sure he still fit into his Sokhol space suit. Good news, it still fits!
Good to know that after 5 months, my Sokhol pressure suit still fits. It's what we wear in the Soyuz. High fashion. pic.twitter.com/AAYn73Hzr2Chris Hadfield
