More than a hundred years after it sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on its maiden voyage, a Titanic may set sail again.
Australian billionaire Clive Palmer plans to build a fully-functional replica of the famed cruise ship. His company, Blue Star Line, has revealed computer-generated images of the Titanic II,which bears a striking resemblance to the original ocean liner.
Just like the original Titanic, the replica will include first, second and third-class accommodations, a grand staircase, a smoking room, and an a la carte restaurant Café Parisien.

Palmer has said there's been an "overwhelming" response from individuals who want to be among the first passengers on the ship.
He has said the new ship will be just as luxurious as the original, but will include the latest navigation and safety technology.

The Titanic was the world's largest and most luxurious ocean liner when it hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sank on April 15, 1912, killing more than 1,500 people.
If the project continues, Titanic II would take its maiden voyage in 2018.
The ship will have space for 2,435 passengers and 900 crew.
Ticket prices have not been released.
