SAINT JOHN, N.B. - The mayor of Saint John, N.B., says he's thrilled that Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are coming to the city next month.

Ivan Court says the city has been trying for three years to persuade a member of the Royal Family to visit Saint John.

The couple are scheduled to arrive May 21 as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

They will spend one day in the province.

The prince and his wife will also visit Canadian Forces Base Gagetown in Oromocto, N.B., before flying to Toronto and Regina.
