When Prime Minister Stephen Harper live-tweeted his work day on Monday, one of the last photos he posted showed his wife, Laureen Harper, and their pet chinchilla, Charlie, greeting him at home.
Charlie proved so popular among Harper’s Twitter followers (even though many wondered at first what type of animal he was), that the prime minister’s wife followed up a YouTube video of the furry rodent on Tuesday.
The 55-second video features Charlie rolling around in a plastic container filled with dust.
Regular dust baths keep chinchillas’ fur coats shiny and healthy.
So far, the video has been viewed more than 300 times.
