CALGARY -- Prime Minister Stephen Harper learned some of the fine points of cribbage as he visited a senior's residence in his Calgary riding.
Harper spent a half hour Sunday chatting with the residents of Trinity Lodge and posing for photos before the main event.
The prime minister was partnered with Metha D'Amico in a four-handed game.
Harper dealt the hand and asked "you sure all the cards are here" to gales of laughter from the dozens of seniors watching.
"I don't think I want to play this guy for money," the prime minister said.
"We have a crib tournament every year at Harrington Lake, but I never win. My daughter is very good."
Harrington Lake is the official retreat of the prime minister.
