Laval firefighters remain at the scene of a major fire at a car dealership that began in the early hours Thursday. Laval fire department operation chief Stephen Saint-Jacques said they were called to the Roro Automobiles Inc. used car dealership on Curé-Labelle Boulevard in the Chomedey district. It was immediately deemed a two-alarm fire. “The reason for the fire is still under investigation,” said Saint-Jacques. Laval police (SPL) were also called to the scene. Saint-Jacques said the fire is under control, but that it was still burning as of 11 a.m. The nearby daycare, Garderie Les Aimables, was not affected by the fire.
