If you’re looking to fluster Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul, don't ask him about his team's uneven play this season; ask him about his love life.
That's what a young fan did Thursday, as the Leafs paid a visit to Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital.
The fan, named Josh, seemed to catch the star forward off guard when he asked him directly, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
The 31-year-old Lupul broke into a smile and responded, "Ah, that's an interesting one… No. But kind of. I don't even know how to explain it," he said -- mercifully choosing not to explain it to the young fan.
Josh then explained that his mother, his sister, and his girlfriend find him "very attractive," which seemed to only make Lupul even more embarrassed.
"OK, wow, you took an interesting line of questioning. I thought you were going to say something about hockey but this is cool, this is more interesting.”
