It appears that frustration amongst Toronto Maple Leafs fans has reached a new level.

A satirical ad with nearly 28,000 views was posted on Kijiji Wednesday titled “hiring forwards, defensemen, and goalies.” A second ad surfaced Friday, too.

“The job may involve dodging flying debris up to and including hockey jerseys,” the most recent ad said. “We will, however pay you between $1-million and $20-million per-year to spend just one or two hours a week skating around a frozen pond.”

It is unclear who posted the cheeky ads, but they’re both signed “Toronto Maple Leafs.”

They come on the heels of the Leafs recent struggles with six-straight losses, including three shutouts, that have left many fans frustrated.

Three fans were charged and banned from the ACC for throwing jerseys onto the ice in a home game on Monday.

The team now sits in 11th place in the NHL’s Eastern Conference, with 23 losses and 22 wins so far in the season.

“If you are interested, please attend your next Toronto Maple Leafs home game and sneak onto the bench wearing your hockey equipment,” Friday’s ad read. “We will assign you to our first forward or defensive line as any fresh players will likely be better than the employees currently working for our organization.”

After the NHL’s all-star break this weekend, the Leafs will be in action Wednesday, when they take on the Devils in New Jersey.
