BlackBerry is set to launch a new touchscreen slider device this year, bearing similarities to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

The brand made the announcement at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, reports The Verge. Details of the model's name, price and release date have yet to be revealed, but it will feature a "dual curved display," the company noted.

The brand also used the conference to launch its new touchscreen model the Leap, a 5-inch, 720p slate-style smartphone seen below. The low-end phone is set to go on sale initially in Brazil and Indonesia.
